This was my first time back to Expo West since the 2020 COVID close. This trade show has an exciting atmosphere. It's always a joy to see old friends and meet new ones!
Mushrooms, plant-forward, functional foods and drinks, adaptogens, pre/probiotics, and waffle snacks seem to be the main attractions.
Seeing how many women-owned businesses were in attendance was most meaningful to me. In 1992, when I started my own company in the retail sales and marketing industry, a woman working from home who had children was rare. Godiva Chocolates offered me an opportunity to start my company and work from home, and I am grateful to them. As my career and business continued to grow, others sent me business and supported me.
Ladies, great job, and to all those who have supported and encouraged us to pursue our goals and visions, thank you!
